| Bilateral dentigerous cyst
associated with polymorphism in chromosome 1qh+ |
|
Non-syndromal bilateral dentigerous
cysts are rare. It is conceivable that they are either under-recognized
or under-reported. In this article we report the unusual occurrence
of non-syndromic bilateral dentigerous cysts associated with mandibular
third molars with polymorphism in chromosome 1qh+. It is suggested that in non syndromal cases of bilateral dentigerous cysts karyotyping should be done to confirm the association with chromosomal 1 anomaly. |
